My name is Avi Harel. The work shared here grows out of one slow practice: walking the path of individuation, and trying to live in honest relationship with what stirs beneath the surface.
“If only a worldwide consciousness could arise that all division and all fissions are due to the splitting of opposites in the psyche, then we should know where to begin. What does lie within our reach is the change in individuals who have or create for themselves an opportunity to influence others of like mind. I do not mean by persuading or preaching; I am thinking rather of the well-known fact that anyone who has insight into his own actions and has thus found access to the unconscious involuntarily exercises an influence on his environment.” C.G. Jung · CW 10, ¶583
The work that radiates
This is the heart of how I understand the work. A person turns honestly toward their own actions, follows the thread back into the unconscious, and slowly something shifts. The shift does not announce itself. It does not preach. It simply changes what passes between that person and the world.
All division begins as a split inside the psyche, and so all real healing begins there. A person who learns to carry the opposites within, who stops splitting them outward as projection onto an enemy, becomes a small countercurrent in the world. Quiet. Often unseen. Real.
This is what I mean by mission. The slow alchemy of becoming someone whose presence makes a different kind of conversation possible, without persuasion and without performance.
My path
For years I have been walking this path. Slowly, with many returns and detours. The center of it, for me, has been a developing relationship with the transpersonal Self – the deeper organizing principle of the psyche, incarnating through us and giving birth to consciousness.
This relationship is tended through dreams, through shadow work, through poetry and music, and through the difficult honesty of staying close to what is real even when staying close brings tension and pain. I carry plenty of flaws and limitations. The work is sincerity, more than mastery.
Wholeness has nothing to do with perfection. It is the patient reclaiming of what has been disowned, and learning to carry the opposites within rather than splitting them outward into the world.
What I offer here
I think of myself as a carrier-mediator. A vessel, when it is open enough, through which symbols and meanings can pass between the inner and the outer. The work I share is what I have received from walking this path: insight earned in struggle and loneliness, honest companionship, and the felt touch of something larger that arrives in moments to remind us we are never truly alone.
In practice, this takes shape through writing, videos, poems, music, depth meetings, and the circles I hold space for. Each is a different doorway into promoting healing, incarnation, and consciousness.
If something here meets you, perhaps we are meant to walk a stretch of this path together. The journey inward is solitary, never isolated. There is a quiet community, scattered and sincere, of those committed to becoming more truly human.
Thank you for being here.
