Soul Circle

12

Sometimes, meaning finds us not through answers, but through presence.
There are different things in life that fill us with a deep sense of meaning,
an experience of authentic connection with the ground of Being,
that makes all the darkness and pain worthwhile.

For me, being able to hold space with another human being~
to listen to what’s real in them,
to mirror it and share what intuitively arises in me in response to their truth,
and to see and feel their soul nurtured and blessed by it~
is more than I could ask for in this life.

For many years I did this only with the closest people in my life,
and occasionally with someone I had just met,
if my intuition told me it was safe and right.

As a child, a teenager, and a young adult, I was burned many times by being too open~
by trusting without patience, by sharing too much too fast.

Then I turned to the other side. I kept silent.
I didn’t let my inner world express itself in the outer one.
And that was a terrible time for me.
Different symptoms began to appear,
protesting this closed attitude, this keeping it all to myself.
It felt like a crime against nature. My nature.
Or the nature to which I belong.

Making the step of offering to hold space with you,
those who live within a deep, rich, and sensitive inner world,
has been one of the most meaningful decisions I’ve made.

I can’t express how grateful I am to those of you who have reached out and walked with me.
I know how much courage it takes to reach out and meet,
to agree to be vulnerable and open,
to trust someone you’ve never met before
with the most delicate and personal life we usually never share.
And yet, what is most personal is also most universal.
This is the mystery that reveals itself again and again in my experience.

I truly believe this work of mediating between consciousness and the unconscious
is the most significant work I’ll ever do.
And I am humbled by this opportunity.
I believe this is the work our time is asking of us.

If you’ve been longing for a space where your inner life can be seen, heard, and honored~
if something in you is ready to come out of hiding~
I invite you to step forward, just as you are.

I’ve started offering a group space to meet in circle~
a gathering of sensitive souls – without masks, without judgment,
where we support each other simply by being fully present.

We’ll open by sharing the intention each of us brings,
naming what feels most alive in the moment.
I’ll read a brief centering passage by Jung,
and we’ll follow the natural unfolding from there.
