“The ‘coming of the Self’ is immanent; and the process of collective ‘individuation’ is living itself out in human history. One way or another, the world is going to be made a single whole entity. But it will be unified either in mutual mass destruction or by means of mutual human consciousness. If a sufficient number of individuals can have the experience of the coming of the Self as an individual, inner experience, we may just possibly be spared the worst features of its external manifestation.”
~ Edward F. Edinger, ‘The New God-Image” lectures
There is a movement underway,
not just in politics or culture,
but in the depths of the human soul.
Something greater than us
is pressing inward,
asking to be known, embodied, lived.
The psyche longs to become whole.
And that longing is not only individual.
It is collective.
It is historical.
Whether we are conscious of it or not,
we are participating in a vast, archetypal unfolding:
the birth of a new kind of consciousness.
One that no longer projects its shadow outward.
One that can hold contradiction, difference, and depth
without collapsing into destruction.

The world will be made into a unified whole,
the only question is how.
Will it be by way of mutual devastation?
Or by the painful, luminous work of mutual awareness?
Each time one of us faces our shadow,
integrates what we once rejected,
and learns to stay conscious amid chaos~
we contribute to the healing of something much larger than ourselves.
We are not separate from what is happening “out there”.
The wars, the chaos, the ignorance~
they mirror what remains unresolved within.
To take responsibility for our own inner fragmentation
is a sacred offering to the world.
So let us become the vessel.
Let us make room for the Self to enter.
Let us participate in the quiet revolution that might just save the future.
More consciousness.
More Soul.
More capacity to hold what is difficult without needing to act-out destructively.
This is how the world will be healed.
From the inside out.
One individual at a time.
